Ready’s Image filly wins by 12 lengths

Lincoln Farm shuttler Ready’s Image has sired another flyer in the United States.  His first crop filly Tourliani blitzed a 1000 metre maiden field by 12 lengths in Pennsylvania on Saturday.

Tourliani (2f Ready’s Image – Golden Playgirl by Tiger Ridge) jumped straight to the front under Rosario Montanez and then accelerated to a 7 length lead at the 400m pole.  She extended that margin to 10 lengths into the straight and kept going further ahead in the final furlong.

Ready’s Image (More Than Ready) shuttles from Walmac Farm and the Kentucky based nursery bred his latest winner in association with Christine Hansen.  There are now three winners from his initial crop following runaway results for Leinan at Keeneland and Renee’s Passion in the Silver Cup Futurity at Arapahoe Park.

Tourliani is raced by Panther Gap Stables and Gerry O’Meara.  She is from a winning half-sister to Southern Playgirl (Western Playboy), a G2 winner of the Keeneland Alcibiades Stakes and Arlington-Washington Lassie Stakes.

Ready’s Image and his sire More Than Ready were both trained by Todd Pletcher for daylight victories in the G3 Tremont Stakes at Belmont and G2 Sanford Stakes at Saratoga.

Ready’s Image has been a hit in the sale ring, too.  His first Kentucky-bred yearlings sold to $150,000 and his first southern yearlings topped the averages ($60,500) at the Inglis Classic Sale earlier this year.

Lincoln Farm owner Nick Posa will stand Ready’s Image for a $5,500 (inc gst) service fee in 2012.  Broodmare owners can call Posa for further information on 0417 903 578.
