Westbury Stud sire Reliable Man (GB) will shuttle to Gestut Rottgen in Germany next year.
Reliable Man (GB) was syndicated by Westbury owner Gerry Harvey after a dual hemisphere career that saw him win the G1 French Derby and G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick.
The shuttle deal was brokered by agent Crispin de Moubray. “Reliable Man is a very exciting stallion prospect,” de Moubray said. “He proved himself to be one the leaders of an outstanding European classic generation and confirmed that quality with a string of top class performances in France, England and Australia as a three, four and five year-old.”
Reliable Man (Dalakhani – On Fair Stage by Sadler´s Wells) was raced by owner-breeder Sven Hanson and the Pride Racing Club. When he relocated to Australia, Rob Ferguson, Andrew Ramsden and Gerard Peterson bought a 10% share from the Swiss-based businessman.
Reliable Man is standing his first NZ season at Westbury Stud for $15,000 (+ gst).
