Former Darley shutters Street Sense, Nadeem and Authorized combined for a stakes winning treble at Rosehill at Saturday.
Unfortunately for Sheikh Mohammed’s operation, they can’t take full advantage because all three sires aren’t available to Australian broodmare owners this year.
STREET SENSE (USA) sired his first Australian stakes winner when Champagne Cath scored a barrier-to-box victory in the LR Reginald Allen Quality (1400m). Trainer Chris Waller predicted the filly will be one of his stable stars in the autumn.
Street Sense is a Group 1 winning son of Street Sense and shuttled to Darley Australia for five years. He now stands at its Japanese base in Hokkaido
NADEEM filly Sharnee Rose boosted her residual value in the G3 Golden Pendant (1400m). The Kris Lees trained mare had been G1 placed in the 2011 Thousand Guineas but had struggled to break through in black-type company.
Nadeem (Redoute’s Choice) stood at Darley Kelvinside but his cards were marked last year. He crossed the Tasman and is now in service at Little Avondale Stud in Masterton.
AUTHORIZED (Ire) sired a Group 3 winner for Sheikh Mohammed courtesy of Complacent in the Gloaming Stakes (1800m). Trainer Peter Snowden has tagged the homebred colt a Group 1 winner of the future and hopes it comes as early as the Spring Champion Stakes in a fortnight.
Authorized (Montjeu) was re-routed to Chile this year instead of returning to Darley Kelvinside. He had shuttled from Dalham Hall to Australia for four years.
