Sammy Sequalo winner at Sunshine Coast

Sleepy Hollow Farm stallion Sammy Sequalo sired his first winner at the Sunshine Coast on Sunday.  Sammy Junior did the honours with an all-the-way victory under Brad Wallace in the IRM Electrical Maiden Hcp (1000m).

Sammy Junior (3c Sammy Sequalo – Montesantos Star by Snippets) was overdue to break through after being placed in his first five starts at Ipswich (2) Doomben, Eagle Farm and Sunshine Coast.  

Sammy Sequalo was a top class performer winning races at Eagle Farm (2) and Doomben and he was also placed in the 2004 Magic Millions 3YO Trophy.  He is based at Sleepy Hollow Farm in the Glass House hinterland and stands for a $3,300 fee.

Sammy Junior is a homebred for Sam Noutsatos and he is trained at Sleepy Hollow by Syd Watters.

Sammy Sequalo is by Lyndhurst Stud champion Sequalo who has sired 490 winners of 1670 races at a 65% strike-rate.
