Seidnazar star in Singapore

Queensland based stallion Seidnazar has made inroads with his two year-olds both at home and abroad since transferring from NSW.

Seidnazar’s first crop included Wellington Boot winner Derippa and his second contains Singapore star Kaiser and recent Sunshine Coast QTIS winner Seideliner.

Seidnazar (Rory’s Jester) originally stood at Riverdene Stud in Wagga but was transferred Banchory Thoroughbreds at Cambooya last year.

Banchory owners Richard and Mary Lee Trivett raced Seidnazar to a Listed victory in the MVRC St Albans Stakes and he was also runner-up to Undoubtedly in the G1 Blue Diamond Stakes.

The Trivetts decided to stand him at their historic Darling Downs property when Riverdene was dispersed in 2010.  They introduced him at a $7,700 service fee and he covered over 70 mares.

Kaiser (2g Seidnazar – One Wink by Last Tycoon) won his third race for trainer Theo Kieser at Kranji on Sunday.  “He’s been very professional from Day 1,” Kieser said.  “His only unplaced run was in the Aushorse Golden Horseshoe but he pulled up with abrasions and bruising so there were excuses.”

Kaiser was initially sold by Riverdene Stud for $11,000 at the 2010 Inglis Classic yearling sale.  He was later picked up on behalf of Singapore’s Gryphon Stable for $80,000 at the 2010 Magic Millions 2YO HIT Sale.

Kaiser will now be set for the G3 Juvenile Championship (1200m) next month.  He is one of four winners produced by the unraced mare One Wink who is a half sister to Melbourne G1 performer Cancanelle.

Kieser purchased the Enemy of Average – One Wink colt for $30,000 at the recent Magic Millions National Sale.
