Sequalo colt tops Day 6 at Gold Coast Magic Millions

The 2011 Gold Coast Magic Millions ended on a successful note on Wednesday when $1.28 million was traded for 129 lots.  Day 6 of the yearling sale series saw an average price of $9,979 at a 69% clearance rate.

Top price on Wednesday was $45,000 for a colt by leading Lyndhurst Stud sire Sequalo.  Magic Millions, acting as agent for a Queensland based client, purchased the colt.  He was one of six yearlings to sell for $30,000 or more on Day 6.

The Aquanita Racing team was next best when parting with $43,000 for a colt by Mossman.  The top priced filly was a $40,000 Not a Single Doubt sister to Perth juvenile winner Single Spice.

The Magic Millions Yearling Sale focus now switches to Perth where 686 lots have been catalogued for the Belmont Park sales complex from February 9 to 13.
