Show Day for Magic Millions

Magic Millions graduates saluted in 47 races around the nation on Saturday in another winning afternoon for Australia’s leading thoroughbred sales company.

Leading the way at Warwick Farm was former Queenslander Hidden Kisses who led home G1 winning stablemate Royal Descent in the Group 3 Toy Show Handicap.

Now prepared by Chris Waller, Hidden Kisses was purchased by agent Paul Willetts for $25,000 from the Robyn Wise draft at the 2009 Magic Millions Gold Coast Yearling Sale.

Hidden Kisses has won 8 races and earned over $548,000.  After the breakthrough in Group company on Saturday, she is now a valuable mare.

A daughter of successful Queensland based Danehill sire Hidden Dragon, she is one of five winners from the 100% winner producer Kiss an Angel (Piccolo).

Magic Millions bargain Golden Penny continued her great run of form with a popular win in the LR Penny Edition Stakes at Morphettville.

A member of the Richard Jolly stable, Golden Penny has turned out an incredible money spinner for her connections considering she cost her trainer just $7,500 at the 2009 Adelaide Yearling Sale.

The mare was bred at Riva Ridge Stud and owner Terry Hodgson was one of the happiest men in the mounting yard after the win.  She has won 7 races in 25 outings with an ever-increasing bank balance of $268,350.

Golden Penny is by former Kambula Stud based sire star Blevic.  She is one of two winners from the twice winning Danehill Dancer mare Miss Moula who descends from 1950s champion filly Wiggle.
