Sir Prancealot shuttles to Cornerstone Stud

Champion European freshman Sir Prancealot has been signed to shuttle from Tally-Ho Stud in Ireland to Cornerstone Stud.

With 32 individual winners, Sir Prancealot was champion first-season sire by both winners and prize-money in 2016 finishing ahead of Helmet and Frankel.  Included in the list of winners were Group 3 winner Madam Dancealot and Listed scorer Sir Dancealot.

Sir Prancealot (Tamayuz – Mona Em by Catrail) was a Group 2 winner of the Flying Childers Stakes at Doncaster and will be traveling from Tally-Ho Stud with Zebedee who has shuttled to Cornerstone Stud for the past two seasons.

His sire Tamayuz (Nayef) stands at Sheikh Hamdan’s Derrinstown Stud in Ireland.  He is closely related to Galileo and won the G1 Prix Jean Prat and G1 Prix du Haras de Fresnay.

“It takes something special to beat the likes of Frankel in a sire’s first season,” Cornerstone’s Sam Hayes.  “Sir Prancealot and Zebedee are upgrading mares with exceptional consistency and that is one of the benefits of breeding to proven stallions.”
