Sizzling times were clocked at the Gold Coast on Monday when the first of two breeze up sessions were held for the Magic Millions HIT Sale in October.  Despite a wet track after 24 hours of rain, no fewer than 79 horses broke 11 seconds during the day at the Gold Coast.

The quickest time was recorded by the Washpool Lodge consigned Testa Rossa-Decipher colt who stopped the clock in 10.16 seconds for its 200 metre breeze.  Catalogued as Lot 244, the chestnut colt is from a lightly raced daughter of Group 1 winner Electrique.

An Exceed and Excel half brother to the stakes winner Coincidental ran 10.20 seconds – the second quickest of the day.

Sharing the third quickest time of the first session was a filly by Mossman (Lot 60) and a colt by Written Tycoon (Lot 224) – they both went down the 200 metres in 10.24 seconds.
