Magic Millions dominates Randwick 2YO trials

Magic Millions graduates dominated juvenile trials Randwick on Monday.  Twelve heats were run at Randwick with a number of promising youngsters impressing in their respective divisions.

Among the most impressive Magic Millions trial winners were Defiant Dame (More Than Ready), Trump (Written Tycoon), Ice Baby (Stratum) and Boys On Tour (General Nediym) among the highlights.

Patinack Farm colt Boys On Tour recorded the biggest winning margin and quickest time when he won the Heat 10.  Defiant Dame, a fellow Gold Coast graduate, won the Heat 1 by over four lengths for David Payne in quick time.

Eleven different sires were represented by heat winners – they included star Magic Millions graduates Snitzel, Stratum (2), Magic Albert, General Nediym, Written Tycoon and Snowland.

The other sires with heat winners were Redoute’s Choice, Fastnet Rock, More Than Ready, Seidnazar and Lonhro.

Iglesia’s group winning juvenile son Written Tycoon, a resident of Eliza Park Stud, was the only freshman sire to provide a heat winner for the Randwick session.  On the same day he had a trial winner for Lee Freedman at Cranbourne.
