Stallion prospects Nicoscene (G2 Euclase Stakes) and Chivalry (G3 HDF McNeil Stakes) are among the 95 Lots entered for Oaklands. Other black-type gallopers for sale include Shards (G3 Up And Coming Stakes), Dylanson (LR Colin Hayes Memorial) as well as stakes-placed gallopers Diamond Oasis and Nordic Empire.
Also on offer is a share in Group 1 winner and now leading stallion Star Witness.
Godolphin (11 lots) is the leading vendor ahead of Ridgeview Park (9), Boneo Horse Ranch (9) and Lindsay Park (8).
Leading sires Exceed And Excel, Choisir, Hinchinbrook, Medaglia d’Oro, More Than Ready, Redoute’s Choice, Not A Single Doubt, Sebring, Snitzel, Street Cry and So You Think are all represented.
Inglis Victorian bloodstock manager Simon Vivian was pleased with the strength of stock on offer. “This sale has historically offered a broad variety of horses and this year is no different,” Vivian said. “There are some very high quality horses coming to the sale and I’m sure buyers will be very interested in them.”
