Stratum & Bernardini fillies highlight NZB National Sale supplementary catalogue

The Supplementary catalogue for the NZ Bloodstock National Sale has attracted some appealing entries to complement the 818 main catalogue scheduled for sale on May 2-4..

The 19 additional horses set to go under the hammer include:

Fillies by the Golden Slipper winner Stratum (Lot 824) and the popular first season sire Bernardini (Lot 820) from the Haunui Farm draft.

Lot 821, a half-sister by Ekraar to the Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed Ginga Dude (Istidaad).

Lot 827 – Switches (Naturalism), the dam of the dual stakes winner and multiple Group placed Light Vision (Zerpour).

Lot 828 – Tad Infinitum (Traditionally), a half-sister to the dual Group 1 winner (She’s) Justa Tad (Istitaad) who has been served by Minstrel Court

Lot 829 – El Eeina (Lord Ballina), a full-sister to the Group 2 winner El Duce  and stakes winner El Perez.

Lot 832, a two-year-old half-sister to the Group 2 winner Gallopin (Pins) by No Excuse Needed.

Lot 834, the two-year-old filly by Lucky Unicorn whose grand-dam Significant Moment (Bletchingly) is a half-sister to New Zealand’s Champion Sire Zabeel.

The seven weanlings in the supplementary catalogue, Lots 819-825, will be auctioned at the conclusion of the Weanling session on the second day of the Sale (3 May). The broodmares, Lots 826-829, will be sold at the conclusion of the Broodmare session on the final day of the Sale (4 May).

The supplementary two-year-olds, unraced stock and racehorses, Lots 830-837, will be sold at the end of the Sale on the final day (4 May).
