In total ,156 lots found new homes at an average of $9,357. “Quality racing stock are always in high demand and we had a good class catalogue,” Inglis Director Peter Heagney said. “Four of the top five lots were geldings with racing potential.”
Darley’s draft dominated the leader-board with 22 lots selling for $601,750. Street Cry’s 3yo gelding Negociant provided the highest price when selling for $87,500 to an Inglis client. He has raced 4 times for a placing at Newcastle.
Salanitri Racing picked up Howdah (Exceed And Excel) and Lot 105 Yulalona (Dubai Destination) for $66,000 and $60,000 respectively.
Lot Address (Commands) was also part of the Darley reduction and was purchased by T B Ooi of Malaysia for $60,000.
The breeding stock section attracted a strong buying bench. Adrian Hall picked up young G3 placed mare Testa Reale (Testa Rossa) with a Duke Of Marmalade filly at foot for $35,000.
