Group 1 winning sire Playing God has his first foal on the ground and Mungrup Stud staff are super-pleased with this stunning colt from Oriel. Pictured with Gene Killick, he is from an Oratorio mare who won at Kalgoorlie for Gray & Jan Williamson and Lex & Shirley Piper.
Oriel’s first to race Little Vinnie (War Chant) finished fourth on debut at Northam last month. The mare also has a yearling filly by Dick Turpin.
Playing God (Blackfriars) covered a quality book in 2014 and is value plus at a $4,400 (inc gst) service fee this year. He was a dual winner of the Group 1 Kingston Town Stakes at Ascot and was also Group 1 placed behind Black Caviar and Shocking in Melbourne.
