Incoming Swettenham Stud stallion Master of Design was a clear winner in a popularity poll conducted by Racenet last week.
In a survey of mid-range first-season sires, Master Of Design really struck a chord with the website’s audience. The Group 1 winning son of Redoute’s Choice received upwards of 30% of the vote among Racenet readers.
The Racenet response is reflected among bookings coming in from broodmare owners in advance of the breeding season. He will stand at Swettenham for an introductory service fee of $12,500.
Master of Design has impressed everyone at Swettenham since arriving from David Payne’s Sydney stables. He was rock hard winning the G1 T J Smith Stakes at Randwick as recently as April 14 but is already letting down into a magnificent stallion.
“He went straight to the feed bin and licked it clean,” Swettenham stallion manager Tim Jones said. “He doesn’t seem to worry about anything.”
Jones assured broodmare owners they won’t be disappointed after inspecting Master Of Design. Swettenham’s stallion parade and open day is scheduled for August 26 commencing at 10.30am.
