Too easy for All Too Hard

Black Caviar’s brother All Too Hard has added more black-type to the family’s pedigree page with a Listed victory in the VRC Talindert Stakes at Flemington.

All Too Hard (2c Casino Prince – Helsinge by Desert Sun) made his debut on the same day big sister held court at headquarter in the G1 Lightning Stakes.  He showed a superior turn of foot to race away for a convincing victory over Liberty Rock and Timely Truce.

All Too Hard made headlines for the first time when he topped the 2011 Inglis Easter Sale at $1,025,000.  “There is always a fair bit of pressure on the horse – everyone is looking at him”, assistant trainer Wayne Hawkes said.  “We will go back to Sydney for races like the Sires’ Produce and Champagne Stakes.”

His sire Casino Prince was a G1 winner of the Chipping Norton Stakes in Sydney and G2 Alister Clark Stakes in Melbourne.  A son of Flying Spur, he stands for a $27,500 (inc gst) fee at Patinack Farm.

Casino Prince sired his first winner when Casino Card scored at the Gold Coast on New Year’s Eve.  Princess Royale was next to arrive at Murray Bridge on Australia Day and All Too Hard made it three on Saturday.

Makybe, as agent for Gilgai Farm, will offer a Redoute’s Choice half-sister to Black Caviar and All Too Hard at the 2012 Inglis Easter yearling sale as Lot 200

Their dam Helsinge is owned by Gilgai Farm’s Rick Jamieson and she foaled a Redoute’s Choice colt last September.
