A trust fund is being set up for the family of Queensland steward James Perry.
Perry, his wife and son were caught in the tsunami that swept through the Lockyer Valley last week. Dramatic footage of the family sitting on top of their car awaiting rescue was seen on TV. Fortunately James’ wife and son were saved, however, he is still missing.
As a result of this tragedy, there has been a trust fund established with the help of Racing Victorian chief steward Terry Bailey. Racing Victoria’s lawyers in Melbourne have kindly offered to set the fund up free of charge. Details for donations and more information will be available next week.
