Former Willowbend Stud shuttler Victory Note has been sold to stand in Wiltshire where he will join G1 Australian Guineas winner Baryshnikov on the Dairy House Stud roster.
Victory Note (Fairy King) was a G1 winner of the French 2000 Guineas and was initially retired to Coolmore Stud. He has spent the past seven seasons at Haras de la Reboursiere et du Montaigu in Normandy.
Victory Note stood three southern seasons at the David Lucas owned Willowbend Stud in Queensland. He sired 77 winners at a very respectable 62% strike-rate but the only gallopers to score at black-type level were the Listed winners Serenote (BTC Doomben Slipper) and Victory Grove (GCTC Ken Russell Classic).
Victory Note will be promoted as a dual purpose stallion after siring several National Hunt winners this year.
