Nick Olive will send out six runners at the Canberra Cup meeting on Sunday and his best chance appears to be talented sprinter Voice Commander in Race 7 at 4.50pm (AEDT).
Voice Commander (5g Commands-Voice Mail by Magic Ring) will be racing first up after getting within three lengths of Trusting in the G2 Warwick Stakes in August. Despite having to shoulder 59kg after the claim, he should prove to classy in the Myer Fashions on the Field Hcp.
Voice Commander is by Darley sire Commands and is one of three winners for city performer Voice Mail. It’s the same family of G1 VRC Oaks winner Tristram’s Belle (Sir Tristram).
