Darley has announced Bernardini will again top its Kentucky roster at a $150,000 service fee in 2013. His asking price had increased from $60,000 to $75,000 to $150,000 between 2010 and 2012.
Bernardini (A P Indy) will return to Jonabell Farm later this year after covering his fifth southern book at Darley Kelvinside for a $55,000 fee.
Two other Darley stallions will also command six-figure fees. Medaglia d’Oro will remain at $100,000 and Street Cry has been reduced from $150,000 to $100,000.
Fellow Australian shuttler Hard Spun has been increased from $40,000 to $60,000 while Elusive Quality and Lonhro remain at $50,000 and $30,000 respectively.
Street Boss drops from $15,000 to $10,000 and Any Given Saturday has been halved to $7,500.
Street Sense is no longer on the Jonabell Farm roster after transferring to Darley’s Japanese base in Hokkaido. And Henny Hughes, the sire of last week’s BC Juvenile Fillies winner Beholder, is now based at Rangeview Stud in Western Australia.
