Brazen Beau to stand at Darley Victoria

Darley has purchased G1 Coolmore Stakes winner Brazen Beau to stand at its Victorian base in 2015.

Brazen Beau (3c I Am Invincible – Sansadee by Snaadee) will remain in training with Chris Waller and will continue to race in the all gold colours of his previous owners Ontrack Thoroughbreds for the duration of his autumn campaign.

Brazen Beau will be targeted at the G1 Lightning Stakes and G1 Newmarket Handicap at Flemington before heading to the United Kingdom to run in the G1 Golden Jubilee at Royal Ascot in June.

“We are delighted to have secured Brazen Beau for stud duties next year,” said Darley’s Managing Director in Australia Henry Plumptre.  “We identified him as a top class colt after his win in the Roman Consul Stakes in Sydney and it was no surprise to us when he won the Coolmore so impressively.

“It is hoped that he will be able to underline his ability with an autumn campaign taking in two of this country’s best sprints before running at Royal Ascot.  He is a powerful type and as a Group 1 winner already he will be a popular addition to our roster when he retires to take up stud duties at Northwood Park for the 2015 season.”
