Brother to So You Think at Inglis 2012 Easter Sale

One of the most exciting lots set to grace a sales ring in the next twelve months will be offered at the 2012 Inglis Easter Yearling Sale.

The brother of globe-trotting champion So You Think will be one of the headline acts of another star-studded catalogue at Newmarket next April 10 to 12.

The High Chaparral colt from the recently crowned NZ Broodmare of the Year Triassic will be offered by Willow Park Stud on behalf of Cecile Smith of Piper Farms.

So You Think (NZ) is due to have his next start in the G1 Irish Champion Stakes this Saturday.  He is the opening favourite for the Arc de Triomphe in October.

“We are delighted to sell one of the standout yearlings of 2012,” Inglis bloodstock director Jonathan D’Arcy said.  “There is a great likeness between him and his brother.”

D’Arcy and NZ representative Michael Otto inspected the colt two weeks ago and were very impressed with him as an individual.  The colt will be part of a top-class draft from Willow Park that also includes a Redoute’s Choice brother to Samantha Miss.

Vendors can still enter yearlings for the Inglis 2012 Easter Sale.  Entries need be received ASAP as the selection process is already underway.
