Demerit relocates to Rangeview Stud

Proven WA-based sire Demerit has been relocated to Rob and Jody Gray’s Rangeview Stud at Burekup following the recent passing of Taunton Vale principal Kent Johnston.

Currently running at a healthy 62% winners-to-runners and sire of Group winning two year-olds Agent Pippa and Kiss Bang Love and outstanding three year-old Special Reward, Demerit has proven popular with WA breeders while standing eight seasons at Taunton Vale.

Kent’s wife Nina made the decision to syndicate the horse and relocate to Rangeview to ease the burden of running the stud.

While retaining a significant shareholding, Nina has been joined in the ownership by leading breeders Rangeview Stud, Geisel Park Stud, Bellbridge Park and prominent trainer and emerging breeder Brett Pope.

Demerit (Lonhro – Shame) will stand the 2019 season at a $6,050 (inc GST) fee making him accessible to all mare owners.
