A 2yo Exceed And Excel filly topped the Inglis Summer Sale at Newmarket on Friday when making $76,000 to the bid of agent Karl Brown.

The unnamed sale topper is from G3 placed Readyforcatherine (More Than Ready) who is also the dam of last month’s G1 NZ 2000 Guineas winner Atlante (Fastnet Rock).

Bail Up (Bel Esprit) was next best on the leader-board at $51,000.  She is a winning daughter of Pay My Bail (Justice Prevails), a winner of the G2 NZ TBA Stakes and dam of Listed winner White Sage (Reset).

A total of 54 horses were sold at an average of $7,377.
