Husson doubles up in Argentina

Patinack Farm’s champion sprinter Husson doubled his winner count in Argentina this week.

Husson filly Lady Hussy won at San Isidro in Beunos Aires on Good Friday and Lake Husson also scored at La Plata on Easter Tuesday.

Besides his two first-crop winners, Husson (Arg) has sired another 5 money-earners from 9 to race to date.

Lake Husson (2c Husson – Miss Lake by Numerous) won on debut by two lengths over 1200 metres.  His dam Miss Lake is an unraced sister to the G3 winners Miss Lake Queen (San Isidro Clasico Porteño) and Mr. Lake (La Plata Clasico Jose Pedro Ramirez).

Husson (Arg) is a son of Hussonet and stands for a $22,000 fee at Patinack Farm.  He was Argentina’s Champion 2YO Colt in 2006 & Champion Miler in 2007.  Husson’s first southern bred foals will be two year-olds on August 1.
