Arrowfield Stud stallion Hussonet will relocate to Lindsay Park in 2011. Now rising 21, he will spend the remainder of his career at the famous Barossa Valley stud.
Hussonet (USA) is the most dominant active sire-son of Mr. Prospector with 562 individual winners around the globe at a sky-high 80% strike-rate. The best of his Australian winners has been 2008 Australian Horse of the Year Weekend Hussler.
Hussonet covered 61 mares on a foal share only arrangement at Arrowfield last year.
“Standing Hussonet is a real coup,” Lindsay Park studmaster Sam Hayes said. “It’s a privilege that we won’t be taking for granted.”
Lindsay Park trainer David Hayes has won feature races with Hussonet gallopers Reaan (G1 MRC Blue Diamond), Husson Lightning (G3 VRC Maribyrnong Plate) and Eagle Falls (G1 MRC Oakleigh Plate).
Hussonet will stand at Lindsay Park alongside Good Journey, Reaan, Barely a Moment, De Beers and Shrewd Rhythm. His fee has been set at $25,000 + gst
