Inglis Jackpot heading to Canberra

Canberra filly Jackpot Queen will return to Melbourne for a rich Super VOBIS event at Caulfield this Saturday.

The Caulfield race carries $70,000 in prizemoney and a $100,000 bonus if the winner is eligible for the Inglis Race Series.

Jackpot Queen (2f Not A Single Doubt – Cash Crazy by Secret Savings) won at Flemington in May and that victory came on the back of earlier wins at Randwick and the Wellington Boot.

“Jackpot Queen is ticking over nicely,” trainer Matthew Dale said.  “She’s a jump-and-run type but is only small and doesn’t carry a lot of extra weight.”

Jackpot Queen is raced by De Costi Seafoods owner George Costi and cost $47,000 at the 2010 Inglis Classic Sale.

She is by Arrowfield sire Not A Single Doubt and is related to the flying full brothers Hot As Hell (G3 AJC Shorts) and Flaming Hot (LR Carrington Stakes).

Arrowfield stallion Not A Single Doubt is bearing down on a milestone of his own with 97 individual winners to his credit.  His oldest are four year-olds and they have won a total of 213 races and a very healthy 63% strike-rate.
