Greta West sire Dangerous has two lots catalogued for the Inglis Melbourne Autumn yearling sale and they received a boost when Orbit Express scored a last-start victory in the Group 3 Victoria Handicap.
Orbit Express (6g Dangerous – Look For Venus by Ideal Planet) took his earnings beyond $430,000 at Caulfield when increasing his career card to 10 wins from 40 starts. He was passed-in for just $20,000 at the 2005 Autumn yearling sale.
Dangerous has a half-brother to G3 BTC Sprint winner Helideck (Iglesia) being offered by Springridge Racing as Lot 343 at Oaklands Junction this Friday.
Orbit Express joins Sweet Cheeks ($45,000), Periduki ($4,000), She’s Got Gears ($45,000) and unbeaten filly Our Baby Bonus ($42,500) among recent winners from the Autumn Sale.
Periduki (5g Perugino-Miduki by Snippets) joined the Autumn Sale’s black-type brigade won he won the Listed Matrice Stakes at Morphettville in February. The Mick Whittle trained gelding was sold by Northwood Park for $4,000 at the 2006 Sale and his earnings are now approaching $280,000.
