Pride Of Dubai retires to Coolmore Stud

Pride Of Dubai will stand at Coolmore Stud this year as the fastest and most successful juvenile by champion sire Street Cry.

He retires after winning last year’s G1 Blue Diamond Stakes (1200m) in 1.10.53s and G1 Inglis Sires’ Produce Stakes (1400m) in 1.25.72s.  “He was a trainer’s dream,” Peter Snowden said.  “And I thought he would make an even better three year-old.”

Pride Of Dubai is co-owned by his breeder Sheikh Mohammed bin Khalifa, Coolmore Stud, Emmaroo Bloodstock and China Horse Club.  He’s out of stakes placed mare Al Anood (Danehill) who has also foaled LR Gothic Stakes winner Al Aneed (More Than Ready).

Al Anood is a half-sister to G1 French Oaks winner Rahfa and she is the dam of champion European sire Invincible Spirit.

With a striking physical appearance, Pride Of Dubai was always a standout.  Born and raised at Coolmore Stud, just like Champion sire Fastnet Rock, his natural speed and precocity coupled with impeccable pedigree credentials, makes him an exciting addition to the NSW stallion ranks.
