Deceased Vinery champion Red Ransom has a number of sons retiring to stud this spring with Lincoln Farm’s Red Arrow already attracting an impressive book of mares.
The interest in first season sire Red Arrow is not surprising given the success of Red Ransom’s sire sons Charge Forward (Arrowfield) and Domesday (Darley). His European based son Intikhab is also in the news with top-class filly Snow Fairy who won this year’s Group 1 English and Irish Oaks double.
Breeders in Australia are pin-pointing Red Ransom as the next breed-shaper given that he is the perfect outcross for the saturated Northern Dancer line mares in this country. The results speak for themselves with the performances of Typhoon Tracy, Onemorenomore, Duporth, All American, Red Dazzler, Romneya etc.
Red Arrow is standing at Lincoln Farm at a fee of $6,600 and his initial book already includes the following:
