Second book for Beatus at Aurora Stud

Rubiton stallion Beatus will serve his second book at Aurora Stud on the Mornington peninsula this year.

Beatus (7h Rubiton – Infinite Charm by Tristino) is a three-quarter brother to dual Cox Plate winner Fields Of Omagh.  He was trained by David Hayes to win his maiden at Strathalbyn in September 2008 and he also grabbed a Geelong sprint when prepared by Leon Corstens in September 2009.

Bred by Martin O’Connor, Beatus is one of six winners produced by stakes placed city winning mare Infinite Charm.  She is also the dam of G2 Tristarc Stakes winner Infinite Grace (Prince Of Birds) and the second dam of Peter Moody’s promising filly Total Attraction (Nadeem).

Infinite Charm is one of 11 winners foaled by wonderful producer Finneto.  Top of the totem pole is Fields Of Omagh (Rubiton) ahead of fellow stakes winners Malcolm (Snippets), King Brian (Twig Moss) and Timeless Grace (Gay Habit).

Beatus covered a handful of mares last year and will stand for a $3,300 (inc gst) service fee in 2012.
