Unraced mare Miles Of Style (Storm Cat) attracted a winning bid of $575,000 to lead trade on Day 4 of the Keeneland November Sale on Thursday.
Miles Of Style was offered by Lane’s End Farm acting as agent for Hilbert – Menard Thoroughbreds. She was sold to Whisper Hill Farm in foal to Quality Road.
Miles of Style is sister to G1 winner Mr. Sidney. Their G1 winning dam Tomisue’s Delight (A.P. Indy) is a sister to 2003 USA Horse of the Year Mineshaft (A.P. Indy) and a half-sister to Queensland based Racetree sire Monashee Mountain (Danzig).
Miles of Style was followed into the ring by her Street Sense filly foal. The Kentucky-bred filly brought the highest price for a weanling on Day 4 at $295,000.
Thursday’s session saw 257 horses change hands for a total $20.26 million. The average of $78,855 was up 23% on the corresponding session from last year.
The Keeneland November Sale continues through to November 17.
