Merlo Downs stallions Changeintheweather (USA) and El Nino (USA) were back among the winners in North America last weekend.

Changing Vista (6m Changeintheweather – Meadow Vista) made it back to back wins at Penn National with a four length victory over 1100m.  It increased her record to 8 wins in 29 starts.

Acallforjoe (3f El Nino – Acallabove) broke her maiden at Charles Town winning over 900m by more than four lengths.

El Nino has now sired 5 winners from 11 starters headed by stakes performer Senor Rain who started his three year-old campaign with a third placing in the LR Californian Derby (1700m) at Golden Gate last month.

Last year, Senor Rain was stakes placed in the Indiana Futurity Stakes, Aflerbaugh Stakes And Real Quiet Stakes.

Changeintheweather (Gone West) and El Nino (Storm Cat) are available at a $5,500 fee at Rockhampton based Merlo Downs.  They stand alongside Garrison Savannah who is a Danehill half brother to Cox Plate winner and exciting young sire Savabeel.
