Beautifully bred colt Wilful Default will be out to make a winning start to his career in the Dooleys Handicap (Race 1 at 12.17pm AEDT) at Rosehill tomorrow.

Wilful Default (2c Dubawi-Shady Stream by Archregent) is a younger half-brother to champion sprinter Takeover Target and class four year-old Predatory Pricer.  Trainer Paul Murray purchased him for $425,000 at this year’s Inglis Easter Sale.

Wilful Default will prove tough to beat following his easy Kembla Grange barrier trial win on October 21.  He is one of 111 first crop two-year olds for Darley sire Dubawi who is flying with his first crop of two year-olds in Europe this year.
